The Federal Capital Territory High Court has granted a request by the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the court in its ruling on Thursday, granted Emefiele’s request to travel out of Abuja.
The embattled banker was initially grounded within Abuja in an earlier ruling as part of his bail conditions.
However, Emefiele, had through his lawyer, Mathew Bukka, requested for a variation of the bail terms.

Though the court granted Emefiele’s request to travel, it ruled that he must remain within the country.
The erstwhile apex bank governor is under serious investigation over allegations bordering on financial misappropriation while at the elm of affairs.
