The Abia State High Court sitting at Obehie, Ukwa West LGA, has halted the enforcement of Senator Adolphus Wabara’s suspension as Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Board of Trustees.
Justice L.T.C. Eruba, who presided over the matter, restrained Abraham Amah, the Abia State PDP chairman, from enforcing the suspension and affecting Wabara’s position as BoT Chairman.
The suspension was announced by Amah, who accused Wabara of anti-party activities, citing his praises for Governor Alex Otti’s performance as one of his alleged sins.
However, the court’s ruling has temporarily halted the enforcement of the suspension, pending the determination of the motion on notice.
