BREAKING: Court Nullifies APC Governorship Primary in Taraba

Justice Simon Amobeda, of the Federal High Court in Jalingo, on Tuesday, nullified the governorship primary election that produced Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 election.

Ruling in a case which was filed by one of the governorship aspirants, Chief David Kente, Amobeda, directed the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a fresh governorship primary in the state within 14 days.

Bwacha was also given an order to stop parading himself as the governorship candidate of the APC.

The court asked INEC to stop recognising Bwacha as a candidate.
