In a landmark ruling on Monday, a Federal High Court in Lagos State nullified the sale of Nigeria Air to Ethiopian Airlines.

The court’s decision declared the sale null and void, effectively halting the Federal Government’s plans to establish the national carrier.

Justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa delivered the judgment in favor of the Registered Trustees of the Airline Operators of Nigeria and five other stakeholders in the aviation industry.
