Court Orders DSS To Release Detained Miyetti Allah President

A Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja has ordered the Department of State Services to release the President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo, from detention.

Justice Mohammed Zubairu described Bodejo’s detention since December 9 without being charged to court as unlawful.

“The applicant is hereby released from the 2nd respondent’s detention,” the judge ruled.

Bodejo’s counsel, Reuben Atabo, had told the court that his client was yet to be charged to court as ordered by the judge during the last hearing.
