38-year-old Adesile Mayowa has be sentenced to three months imprisonment by a Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti for stealing packs of bottled water.
Mrs Titilayo Ola-Olorun, the Chief Magistrate, sentenced the convict who pleaded guilty to the offence, He was however, given an option of N10,000 fine.
The police prosecutor, Insp Johnson Okunade, told the court that the convict went to the shop of one Alhaji Babalola Isiaka and stole six packs of bottled water.

The magistrate ordered the convict to be remanded in custody until he pays the fine.
