The long-running murder case of UniPort student, Miss Justina Otungen Nkang, finally reached a decisive conclusion as a Rivers State court sentenced her killer, Damian Chinemerem Okoligwe, to death by hanging. The ruling ended months of tension and public outrage over the brutal killing that shocked Andoni and the entire Rivers State.
Damian, who had posed as a content creator, was found guilty of murdering and dismembering the 300-level Biochemistry student. The case ignited protests, online campaigns, and public advocacy groups demanding justice for the young woman whose life was cut short.
