The World Health Organisation (WHO) has alerted the world that coronavirus might not be the last pandemic the world would experience.

Dr Walter Kazadi Mulombo, WHO Country Representative in Nigeria, gave warning at the ninth General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the Epidemiological Society of Nigeria held in Port Harcourt.

The representative noted that COVID-19 has provided Nigeria and the whole world an opportunity to strengthen immunisation, build capacity of health workers and strengthen disease surveillance.
