British R&B sensation Craig David has shared that he’s been celibate for the past two years.
The 43-year-old singer explained that he chose to abstain from sex as a way to work through personal issues and take a break from intimate relationships.

David mentioned that this period of celibacy has also had a positive impact on his creativity.
“It’s been two years now for me [without sex]. But as much as I was like, ‘Wow!’ to myself for the moment, my creativity has been at 100, at its peak, during those two years,” he said in a recent interview with TMZ.
The ‘Fill Me In’ artist indicated that he hopes this period of celibacy will help him prepare mentally for his next relationship.
