Saudi Super Cup: Ronaldo Makes History After Al-Nassr’s Loss to Al Ahli

The former Manchester United forward scored his 100th goal in the Saudi Super Cup final.

Following the goal, the 40-year-old became the first player to find the net 100x for four different clubs as well as the national team, said the Football expert Romano Fabrizio.

Cristiano Ronaldo 100th Goal as Al-Nassr Lose to Al-Ahli

Al-Nassr lost the Saudi Super Cup to Al-Ahli after a 2–2 draw and a 5–3 penalty shootout in Hong Kong.

Ronaldo opened the scoring from the spot, but Franck Kessié levelled just before half-time.

Marcelo Brozović restored Al-Nassr’s lead in the 82nd minute, only for Roger Ibáñez to equalise in the 89th and send the game to spot-kicks.

The shootout was decided by Édouard Mendy.

Wenderson Galeno converted the game-winning penalty after his save against Abdullah Al-Khaibari changed the momentum, giving Al-Ahli the championship.
