Cristiano Ronaldo, former goal-scoring legend for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, has declared “it’s just the beginning” after a standout performance in Al Nassr’s 4-1 victory over Al-Feiha on Tuesday.

The 39-year-old contributed with a goal and an assist, helping set up Talisca’s opener and scoring himself. His free-kick goal in stoppage time was his 64th for club and country, putting him just one behind Lionel Messi’s record. It was also his 899th career goal.

Despite the win, Al Nassr remains two points behind surprise leaders Al-Qadisiyah. Cristiano Ronaldo urged his teammates to maintain their strong start to the season, posting on X: “This is only the beginning! Let’s go @AlNassrFC!”
