Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has made history by becoming the first player to score in 23 consecutive seasons. Ronaldo achieved this milestone during the 2024/2025 season when he scored in Al Nassr’s 2-0 victory over Al Taawoun in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final on Wednesday.

The Portugal captain found the back of the net after Ayman Ahmed gave Al Nassr an early lead in the eighth minute. Ronaldo’s goal came from a well-placed cutback by Sultan Al Ghanam, which he expertly finished from inside the area.

This goal marks yet another record for the 39-year-old, whose remarkable streak of scoring in consecutive seasons began with his first two senior career goals for Sporting CP against Moreirense on October 7, 2002.

Last season, Cristiano Ronaldo continued to showcase his incredible form, netting 35 goals in the league and breaking the single-season scoring record. He also provided 11 assists, contributing to a total of 46 goal involvements in just 31 league matches.
