  • Ronaldo nets 35 goals for Al Nassr.
  • Age 40, still the top scorer.
  • Back-to-back Golden Boots in Saudi.

Cristiano Ronaldo keeps proving that age is just a number, as the Al Nassr striker picked up his second Golden Boot in a row in the Saudi Pro League.

Even though Al Nassr went down 3-2 to Al Fateh in their last match of the season, Ronaldo still managed to score.

That goal took his league total for the 2023/24 campaign to 35, making him the division’s top scorer.

An Incredible Season for the 40-Year-Old Icon

Ronaldo’s strike against Al Fateh was his 25th in league fixtures this term.

Across every competition, the Portuguese superstar hit the net 35 times, underlining his lasting class on the pitch.

At 40, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner outshone many much younger players, proving he remains one of the finest marksmen in football.

Beating the Rivals to the Punch

Ronaldo finished ahead of Al Ahli’s Ivan Toney, who enjoyed a strong debut season in Saudi Arabia with 23 goals.

His old Real Madrid colleague Karim Benzema scored 21 for champions Al-Ittihad, while Al Shabab’s Abderrazak Hamdallah also ended on 21.

Looking Ahead for Ronaldo

With supporters and analysts already speculating, the big question is: how much longer can Ronaldo perform at this level?

For the time being, though, he is indisputably the king of goals in the Saudi Pro League.
