Cristiano Ronaldo Sees Red as Al-Nassr Falls to Al-Hilal in Saudi Super Cup Clash

Cristiano Ronaldo

In a Saudi Super Cup clash on Monday night, Cristiano Ronaldo, playing for Al-Nassr, was sent off as his team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Al-Hilal.

Ronaldo’s dismissal came after he elbowed Ali Al-Bulaihi during the game. In the first half, Al-Nassr thought they had scored when Otavio redirected the ball into the net. However, the goal was disallowed because Ronaldo attempted to touch the ball from an offside position.

Displeased with the decision, Cristiano Ronaldo argued with the referee, earning himself a yellow card for dissent. Later in the game, while his team was trailing 2-0, Ronaldo lashed out at an Al-Hilal player and was shown a straight red card.
