Cristiano Ronaldo Set to Break Record with Sixth European Championship Appearance

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo is set to make history by participating in his record sixth European Championship. The 39-year-old has been included in the 26-man squad for this summer’s tournament in Germany.

Ronaldo previously shared the record of five European Championships with Spain’s legendary goalkeeper, Iker Casillas.

“Regarding Cristiano, it’s better to talk about the data. He has scored 42 goals in 42 games for his club, demonstrating his consistency and physical ability to stay fit, along with the goal-scoring quality that we need,” said Portugal head coach Roberto Martinez.
