Al Nassr CEO Guido Fienga has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at the club for the upcoming season despite a disappointing end to the 2023-24 campaign.
Al-Nassr finished second in the league, trailing local rivals Al-Hilal by 14 points. They also suffered a heartbreak in the King’s Cup final, losing to Al Hilal in a penalty shootout last Friday, leaving Ronaldo and his teammates without any silverware for the season.
Despite the team’s trophyless season, it was a standout year for Ronaldo individually. Cristiano Ronaldo set a new record for the most goals scored in a Saudi Pro League season with his brace against Al-Ittihad in the final league match.

Speaking to Sada Al-Mala’eib after the Saudi King’s Cup final, Fienga affirmed that the Portuguese captain will continue with Al-Nassr. He emphasized that Ronaldo’s commitment to the club is strong, describing how deeply integrated Ronaldo has become, symbolized by the team’s predominant yellow color.
