The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a notorious cult leader, Olamilekan Akojede, who has been terrorizing the Oja Oda community in the Yewa-North local government area of the state.

According to the command’s spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, Akojede, 35, was arrested on Friday at about 2:30 pm and will be transferred to the state criminal investigation department for discreet investigation.

He was said to be the leader of the Alora confraternity and had been on the command’s watch list for some time.

Odutola stated that Akojede had been causing panic in the community and assured that the command is dedicated to eradicating cultism from the state. She urged other cult members to change their ways for the betterment of society.
