The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Murtala Muhammed International Airport Command has announced that it has exceeded its 2024 revenue target, generating a total of N71.6 billion.
According to the Customs Area Controller, Effiong Harrison, the command’s revenue target for 2024 was N56.861 billion.
Harrison expressed delight over the record-breaking revenue achieved by the command, describing it as “unprecedented” and the highest-ever generated in the history of the command.
“A detailed breakdown of the revenue underscores the remarkable achievement of the command in revenue generation,” he said.

The command’s revenue grew significantly in 2024, with July being a standout month, recording its highest-ever monthly revenue of N12 billion.
Compared to 2023, the command’s revenue increased by 135%, from N30.5 billion to N71.6 billion.
Customs Seizes ₦117 Million Worth of Illicit Drugs in Ogun
The Ogun Area 1 Command of the Nigerian Customs Service has seized illicit drugs worth ₦117,587,405 in Duty Paid Value.
The contraband, which includes large quantities of cannabis sativa and Tramaking tablets, was intercepted across strategic locations in Ogun State.
