Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has accused Davido of orchestrating his arrest for defamation. In a series of posts on X, Dammy Krane claimed he was detained illegally by police on Davido’s orders and alleged that there are plans to frame him for crypto scams.
Dammy urged his followers to hold Davido responsible if anything were to happen to him, stating, “If anything happens to me, @davido should be held accountable. Oppressor @davido has paid them to arrest me. They falsely accused me of being involved in Flutterwave and crypto scams just to get me arrested.”
The dispute between Dammy and Davido began in 2023 over an alleged debt, with Davido calling Dammy Krane ungrateful in response. Dammy has since continued to criticize Davido online, even accusing him of involvement in the death of his friend Tagbo Umeike in 2017.
