Aliko Dangote hostedd Burna Boy and the CEO of Flytime Entertainment, Nigerian Cecil Hammond to dinner. Burna Boy appeared so humble and happy as he meet up with Africa’s richest billionaire.
This meet up made known through a post on Instagram by Cecil Hammond tagged “Bringing the legends together, one smile at a time.”
Recall that earlier on February 27th, one of the richest businessmen in Africa, Femi Otedola also hosted Burna Boy, Wizkid alongside other popular artists in his house.

Burna Boy’s appearance caught the eyes of social critics as he was dressed in a simple well-designed kaftan devoid of gold embellishments that were usually found on him at other times.
Many said it’s reverence, while some stated that its class structure as Dangote is of a higher pedigree than the popular singer.
Although, the deep details of the meeting are yet unknown; however, an insider reported to Daily Report Nigeria that a billionaire Businessman commended Burna Boy for releasing a song about him.
He said;
“I only got to listen to the song you released about me last week and I immediately told my team to send you an invitation. Discovered you released it years ago but I’m just so busy with business that I don’t have spare time for music haha. But thank you. Honored that my hard work inspired a song from a high-profile African music legend like you. Let’s have some dinner”
In 2019, Grammy Award star Burna Boy released a song entitled “Dangote.” The song recognises the importance of hard work and persistence and draws a parallel to Dangote’s success story and achievements.
Though it’s been six (6) years since the song was released Dangote has finally acknowledged Burna Boy’s honour to him in the song. Especially the timing of the song, which was released when Dangote had just climbed to the 64th number on the world billionaire’s list, retaining his position as Africa’s richest man for the eighth time.

At that time, the song was one of the top hits on the street, especially for hustlers who the song constantly reminded them to keep on working, because their efforts would pay off one day.
