Dangote Refinery has announced new petrol prices, selling at N990 per litre for truck deliveries and N960 per litre for ship deliveries.

This comes in response to the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) and Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN), who claimed they could import petrol at lower rates.

In a statement, the refinery’s Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, emphasized that their pricing aligns with benchmarks set by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL). He dismissed the marketers’ claims, suggesting that any cheaper imports would likely be substandard.

Chiejina stated, “If anyone claims they can land PMS at a price cheaper than what we are selling, then they are importing substandard products.”

He also highlighted that Dangote Refinery had reduced its prices for ship deliveries, showcasing its commitment to providing quality fuel.
