The Dangote Refinery, located in the Lekki Free Trade Zone of Lagos, Nigeria has sought for thirty-three thousand job hunters upon becoming fully operational.

It announced the creation of a hundred thousand jobs for the above-highlighted number.

The refinery has a daily processing capacity of 650,000 barrels of crude oil.

According to reports, the company will create an additional sixty-seven thousand jobs in various sectors, including engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance.

Dangote Refinery’s investment in Nigeria’s economy was expected to boost the country’s GDP by $20 billion per year and reduce the country’s dependence on imported oil.

Additionally, it will positively impact Nigeria’s employment rate, which currently stands at 33%.
