Media personality and social commentator Daniel Regha has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and GTBank to clarify the circumstances surrounding the reported arrest of controversial internet figure, VeryDarkMan.
In a post shared via his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, Regha expressed concern over the lack of official communication from both institutions, particularly in light of claims that VeryDarkMan may have been assaulted while in custody.
“Neither GTbank or the EFCC has released any statement regarding the reported arrest of VeryDarkMan; They should address the situation. Arresting someone is one thing, but the reported assault is another. Regardless what he’s done, assault is something no-one should stand for. If he’s committed a punishable offense, follow the due process and the keep the public updated. This is ridiculous,” he wrote.
