The comparison between the two actors gained traction following their heated exchange on the reality show “Ebuka Turns Up Africa.” In the show’s debut episode, Zubby boldly proclaimed himself as the “biggest actor” in Africa. This declaration sparked a reaction from Timini Egbuson, who contested Zubby’s claim and asserted his own achievements in the industry, dismissing Zubby’s assertion of supremacy.

Tensions escalated further when Zubby made a seemingly boastful remark, suggesting that he could financially outmuscle Timini. This comment was met with backlash from Timini, who, in a subsequent episode, questioned Zubby’s knowledge of his financial status and accused Zubby and his colleagues of flaunting borrowed luxuries on social media.
In response to the feud between the two actors, Regha shared his thoughts on the matter.
“Timini isn’t a better actor than Zubby Michael, he’s only privileged to have starred in a lot of cinema movies & blockbusters, hence his massive popularity. Zubby literally k!lls every movie role, but same can n¤t be said for Timini. This comparison is a disrespectf to Zubby. No offense.”
