Afrobeats star Davido recently took to Instagram to remember his late mother, Veronica Hailey Imade Adeleke, describing her as a “baddie.”
In a heartfelt post, OBO shared a photo of his mother in her academic regalia and wrote, “My mom was a baddie.”
Veronica Adeleke, who passed away on March 6, 2003, at the age of 39, was a lecturer at Babcock University, where he later studied music. She also founded a band named ‘Davido’s Band’ in honor of her son. His daughters, Imade and Hailey, are named after her.
