Davido burst onto the Nigerian music scene with the hit singles “Back When” and “Dami Duro,” from his debut album, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ (2012). Since then, he’s become one of the leading figures in the Afrobeats genre, alongside Wizkid and Burna Boy.

However, Davido has mentioned in various interviews that he doesn’t have a cordial relationship with Wizkid and Burna Boy, suggesting that his entry into the industry may have contributed to ongoing tensions and competition.
