Popular singer David Adeleke, known as Davido, has claimed that the Nigerian music industry has never been peaceful since he entered the scene, and he enjoys the chaos.

On Sunday, Davido took to his X account to express his feelings, writing, “Since I came in the game dem never get peace .. I love it! Make I find somewhere with beach go relax.”

As the head of DMW, Davido has previously suggested that some of his peers in the industry are conspiring against him. In 2022, he posted, “Me vs the industry! Love it!,” implying a sense of rivalry.

Davido burst onto the Nigerian music scene with the hit singles “Back When” and “Dami Duro,” from his debut album, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ (2012). Since then, he’s become one of the leading figures in the Afrobeats genre, alongside Wizkid and Burna Boy.

However, Davido has mentioned in various interviews that he doesn’t have a cordial relationship with Wizkid and Burna Boy, suggesting that his entry into the industry may have contributed to ongoing tensions and competition.
