Afrobeats star Davido has responded to his father Adedeji Adeleke’s recent N1 billion donation to the Centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
The donation, made in memory of Davido’s late mother, Esther Adeleke, was announced during a remembrance service at the church’s headquarters in Lagos.
Davido took to Tunde Ednut’s comment section to express his admiration, saying, “Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out.” On his Instagram story, he added, “My dear father inspires me every day! Love this man right here.”

The donation event was attended by several prominent figures, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, and media entrepreneur Dele Momodu, among others.
