Rexxie, claiming nominations for his production work on Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album “Twice As Tall” and the Grammy-nominated song “Do Yourself” by Angelique Kidjo and Burna Boy, engaged in a Twitter exchange with a Davido fan on Sunday. During the exchange, Rexxie bragged about earning a Grammy nomination before OBO.

In a now-deleted tweet, Rexxie asserted his achievement without relying on sympathy or viral stunts, indirectly referencing Davido’s approach. He stated, “Before your fav gets a Grammy, I’ve already received one. I didn’t seek sympathy or engage in viral stunts or arrive early at the show with a large entourage and family members. Respect!”

Davido, evidently displeased by the remarks, promptly unfollowed Rexxie on social media platforms.
