D’banj and Don Jazzy Reunite for ‘The Entertainer Sequel’ Album After Years Apart

D'banj and Don Jazzy

D’banj and Don Jazzy, two of Nigeria’s most iconic musicians, have come together once again to create a new album titled The Entertainer Sequel. The news of their reunion and upcoming release has excited fans, as D’banj announced the project on his Instagram, sharing a short video that features not just Don Jazzy, but also TV host Jimmie Akinsola, actor Gideon Okeke, and several others.

This new album serves as a follow-up to D’banj’s highly successful 2008 album, The Entertainer, and will include remixes of some of his most beloved tracks such as Fall in Love, Feli Feli, Igwe, and Suddenly. These songs, which were massive hits at the time of their original release, are expected to evoke nostalgia while also offering a fresh take for today’s listeners.

D’banj first rose to fame in 2005 with the release of his debut single, No Long Thing, which quickly became a hit. He and Don Jazzy, who is not only a talented producer but also a co-founder of Mo’Hits Records, formed a powerful duo during those early years.
