A mariner, Engr. Debekeme Austin Jr. has expressed gratitude to family, friends, colleagues and associates over their goodwill messages to him on his birthday.
In a statement over the weekend, Engr. Debekeme said he was delighted to have celebrated across boards on April 19.

“I literally can’t express nor know how to appreciate you all for the Birthday prayers and wishes showered on me on the anniversary of my birth.
“Indeed, I feel delighted and loved to be celebrated by these multitudes of people and for all your prayers & wishes, calls, text messages etc.
“To those I couldn’t see their posts to reply to, it wasn’t intentional, it is due to network signal at my location but be rest assured I appreciate you all from the depth of my heart.
“It is my earnest prayer that God continue to guide and keep us all safe to keep celebrating. May God bless you all and may celebrations never depart from our lives and families.
