Following Arsenal’s 4-1 penalty shootout victory over Manchester City in the FA Community Shield, England midfielder Declan Rice revealed that winning trophies with Arsenal had been part of his vision.

During the shootout, all four of Arsenal’s kicks were successfully converted, while Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri missed their shots for City.
In his post-game comments, Rice expressed his determination to continue improving throughout the season, stating, “This is what I envisioned when I joined the club, winning trophies.”
He also mentioned that the team’s manager had emphasized the importance of treating each match as a mini-game, acknowledging the continuous changes and challenges they face.
