Controversial reality star DeeOne has urged veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji to embrace aging. In response to a trending video of Genevieve enjoying Ayra Starr’s song ’21,’ DeeOne said that contrary to many Nigerians’ claims that the ‘Blood Sisters’ actress looks ageless, she is indeed getting older. He believes that Nigerians are deceiving her with their praise.
In a recent video message on Instagram, DeeOne encouraged Genevieve to accept her age and consider taking on grandmother roles in films. He said, “Whenever Genevieve’s videos or pictures come out, people always say she looks so young. That’s not true. If you want to know if she’s old or young, don’t just look at her face in pictures or videos where she’s wearing makeup; check the back of her hands or legs.
“If Genevieve is truly as young as people say, I challenge her to post pictures of the back of her hands and legs. Madam Genevieve, you look your age. Don’t let people deceive you. Nigerians can be deceitful. There’s nothing wrong with looking your age. I’m already growing grey hair. Embrace it. Take on roles of elderly characters in movies, like mothers and grandmothers.”
