Elaigwu Odogbo Obagaji, a pastor of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has been declared the new paramount Ruler of the Idoma Nation.
The 52-year-old clergyman was announced Och’Idoma, after defeating Andrew Idakwu and Sunday Echono, following the demise of His Royal Highness, Agabaidu Elias Ikoyi Obekpa, who died after going for a hunting expedition on October 10.
Daily Report Nigeria can recall that the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom had assured that selection of the new Och’Idoma would be transparent.

Born on 27th March,1969, Pastor Eliagwu is the 5th born of Mr. ELAIGWU EKOJA in Obagaji, headquarters of AGATU Local Government Area of Benue State.
He graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (1994) with B.Sc honors in Accounting and currently running a PhD program in Accounting at the Nasarawa State University Keffi.
