Prominent human rights advocate Deji Adeyanju has provided a fresh update concerning the role of legal luminary Femi Falana SAN in the ongoing detention of social media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM), confirming that Falana has indeed stepped in.
In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, Adeyanju wrote:
“I have now confirmed contrary to my previous post the other day that our revered leader and mentor, Femi Falana SAN has made several calls to EFCC challenging VDM’s unlawful arrest and detention.”
This statement serves as a reversal of Adeyanju’s earlier stance, where he had publicly questioned Falana’s silence and expressed disappointment over what he then perceived as inaction from the senior lawyer regarding VDM’s case.
