A lecturer with the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Dr. Joseph Benike, who died in fatal auto crash, will be laid to rest on Saturday, April 1.
Benike, who was also a Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Political Matters, died after almost three weeks in coma.
The academician was involved in the accident that claimed his life while on the way to Asaba on February 20 for a political meeting.

Benike was confirmed dead on March 8 following a brain surgery at a specialist hospital in Asaba, the state capital.
He will be laid to rest in his hometown of Obotebe, Burutu Local Government Area of the state.
The deceased is survived by a wife and two elder siblings, among other relatives.
