Sheriff Oborevwori has reacted to the judgment by the Supreme Court which declared him the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta Stare.

Daily Report earlier reported that the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly was declared winner following a long legal tussle with Olorogun David Edevbie.

Edevbie, who came second in the PDP governorship primary in May, had dragged Oborevwori to court over alleged discrepancies in his certificates.

However, delivering judgment, Honorable Justice Tijani Abubakar, upheld the the judgement by the Federal Court, which had been overturned by the Appellate Court in favour of Edevbie.

Taking to his official Facebook account shortly after the judgment on Friday, Oborevwori thanked God for the victory.

Oborevwori wrote;

“Yet again, God showed us His mercies and gave us victory.

“May His name alone be lifted up and glorified.

“All glory and all power be unto God Almighty, the creator of the universe.
