The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Sheriff Oborevwori, had his supporters in their numbers at the Mega Rally of the People’s Democratic Party in Delta State.
Oborevwori, an aspirant for the Delta 2023 gubernatorial elections, got tongues wagging as his supporters overwhelmingly outnumbered other campaign camps at the Cenotaph in Asaba, the State capital, on Saturday.
Spotted in varying colorful attires, the supporters were seen in different groups as they displayed solidarity for their principal.
Oborevwori has been a member of the Delta State House of Assembly as a representative of the Okpe State Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party since 2015.
He was elected speaker of Delta State House of Assembly on 11 May 2017 following the impeachment of the then Speaker, Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya.
