Frontline aspirant for the Burutu Council Chairmanship seat, Hon. Murphy Ololobou has unveiled his blueprint for the Council.
The blueprint obtained by Daily Report Nigeria saw the former Councillor list education, employment, health/social welfare, security and amongst his priorities if elected.
It read;
Pre-occupied to assume duty as the next Burutu Local Government Council Chairman, to consolidate on the gain of the immediate past Chairman, to project Burutu to the world as an excellent local government where socio-economic infrastructural development facilities are guaranteed, thus, improving the quality of life of all Burutu L.G.A residents, I shall offer myself to serve my people with the following;
EDUCATION: Provision of free notebooks, introduction of computer studies with provision of computers, payment of scholarship and bursary schemes to deserving students in secondary schools and higher institutions and creating enabling environment for effective teaching and learning.

EMPLOYMENT: There shall be employment/engagement of our youths on various fields of human endeavors. Vocational training centres shall be strategically located to train our youths in various vocations, in collaboration with identified relevant organizations and agencies, for self-dependency and employment/job creation.
PROMPT PAYMENT OF SALARY: I shall pay workers salaries promptly and enhance their welfare to encourage them for maximum output. Additionally, the best performing staff shall be identified and rewarded annually.
HEALTH/SOCIAL WELFARE: Establishment of new standard Health Care centres and regular maintenance of existing ones to combat primary diseases. regular sanitation inspection that will lead to health-to-wealth result, construction of toilets in each ward of the local government, efficient immunization programmes that will reduce infants and maternal death rate, provision of bore holes for potable drinking water, provision of oil people’s home where they can recreate and exercise their bodies and minds for healthier living, payment of allowance for community chairmen/leaders and interface with them on how best to run their communities, payment of monthly stipends to the eldest man and woman from each community for the duration of my tenure.
TRANSPORTATION: Provision of speedboats for the movement of staff and Burutu main town residents to and fro Warri at a subsidized rate.
MARKET: A vibrant market where our women and men are given the opportunity to lead and direct the market affairs, to encourage and provide investable funds through loans, incentives to the cooperative societies and individuals who shall be given funds to establish small-scale businesses, introduction of consumer shops in all wards where consumer goods will be bought at a cheap rate.
YOUTH, SPORTS AND CULTURE: To promote sports and sporting activities within the Local Government area e.g football, table tennis, scrabble and wrestling competitions and other recreational activities shall also be given due attention where our sporting talents shall be identified, tapped and sponsored.
SECURITY: As the Chief security officer of Burutu Local Government, I shall operate fully with the Nigeria Police and all other security agencies, including local vigilantes within the council to reduce crime to the barest minimum and manage the security network with a view to fully preventing crime.
The good people of Burutu Local Government, in addition to the above blueprint, I shall serve you all with accountability, transparency, probity, equity, humility and above all with the fear of God.
