The Delta State government has reacted to a query letter issued to a Nursing student over the viral “Na your mama be dis” video.
Recall that a video had gone viral, showing a group of students singing a welcome song for the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu in the School of Nursing Agbor.
In the video, students could be heard changing some parts of the song, including the “Na your mama be dis”.
Reacting, the school body issued a query letter to the student for releasing the video on social media, telling her to respond with reasons disciplinary actions should not be taken against her.
Nigerians however took to social media, as they campaign for the school to withdraw the letter, after it made rounds online.
Reacting to this, the state commissioner of Health, in a video shared online today, Friday, said he had ordered the withdraw of the letter, and has also confirmed it from the student in question.
‘’The letter of query issued to the student of School of Nursing Agbor. I have instructed the provost to withdraw the letter. We do not want to victimize any of the students. I have also reached out to the student in question and she has confirmed to me that the letter was withdrawn late yesterday night” he said
