Policemen in Warri Delta State, have reportedly arrested a 34-year-old woman for selling AK-47 bullets.
The suspect was apprehended during a raid on her premises around Effurun Roundabout in the Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta.
Police spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe stated the police acted on actionable intelligence gathered about the illicit activities of the suspect.

Edafe disclosed that the police operatives stormed the suspect’s premises and found evidence of her involvement in the illegal trade.
He said:
“Following an actionable intelligence gathered on May 18 about a woman who deals in the illegal sale of AK-47 ammunition, operatives raided the premises of the suspect located close to Effurun Roundabout.
“During the raid, 100 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition were recovered from the lady. Investigation in the matter is ongoing.”
He added that the suspect would be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
