In a viral video, Governor Oborevwori, dressed in a suit and red tie, was observed standing attentively and helping attendees during the program. Shiloh 2025 began on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, and drew many notable figures from across Nigeria, including Pastor Paul Enenche, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, and Bishop David Oyedepo’s sons, David Jr. and Isaac Oyedepo.

This is not the first time Governor Oborevwori has taken part in church service. Last November, he was seen handling offerings, personally collecting contributions from members and depositing them in the church vault, demonstrating his commitment to service and humility.

Sheriff Oborevwori served as Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly from 2017 to 2023, representing Okpe Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He became governor in 2023 and later joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in April 2025, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The governor’s actions at Shiloh 2025 highlight his willingness to engage directly with the community and participate in acts of service, raising questions about the role of humility and hands-on leadership in public office.

“Leadership is not only about holding power but serving others, and that is exactly what we witnessed from Governor Oborevwori today,” a church attendee said.
