This was disclosed during a briefing to newsmen following a meeting held by the State Executive Council and presided over by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

According to Aniagwu the recruitment has become very necessary due to the vacancies created as a result of some teachers retiring, death and also establishment of new schools across the state.
