Destiny Etiko has addressed the rumors about her alleged affair with veteran actress Omotola Jalade’s husband, Matthew Ekeinde.
The rumors suggested that Ekeinde had bought a luxury car for Etiko, sparking widespread speculation.
During an Instagram Live session, Etiko dismissed these claims as false and intended to damage her reputation. She stated, “These rumors are just attempts to hold back blessings. People have always spread negativity about me. I don’t know where these ideas come from. If men give money, it’s not something I’m aware of.”

Destiny Etiko explained that she buys a new car nearly every year for her birthdays because she enjoys updating her vehicle. She also clarified that the photos circulating were taken over four years ago when Ekeinde was piloting her flight. She had asked for a selfie out of respect, and that was the extent of their interaction.
