The Kogi state police command have confirmed the arrest of a physically challenged man for rape.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the disabled man, identified as Ojochogwu Baba, a 49-year-old was said to have had carnal knowledge of a 10-year-old girl in Kogi state.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP William Ovye Aya, said the suspect had lured the victim by asking her to buy him alcohol and cigarettes.

In a statement released on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the spine spokesperson added that the suspect was arrested at Wada Estate in Lokoja.
He added that the suspect will be charged to court on completion of investigation.
