Immediate past Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The former Speaker who first decamped to the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) shortly before the 2019 general elections, was led to meet President Muhmmadu Buhari at the State House on Friday by chairman of the party’s Caretaker/National Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni.

Although the former Speaker refused to speak correspondents at the State House after his meeting with President Buhari, Buni confirmed that Dogara has indeed rejoined the APC.
