The dollar to naira exchange rate at the black market, also known as the parallel market (Aboki fx), has hit N1605 as of Saturday, August 17, 2024.

According to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC), the exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) players buy a dollar for N1602 and sell at N1605.

Please note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market (black market), as it has directed individuals who want to engage in Forex to approach their respective banks.

In other news, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has revealed the least expensive states to live in Nigeria.

The report disclosed that Benue, Delta, and Borno states are the cheapest states in the country presently. Benue’s headline inflation stood at 27.28 percent, Delta, 28.06 percent, and Borno 28.33 percent on a year-on-year basis.
