Music Executive Don Jazzy and Afrobeats megastar Wizkid have resolved any apparent rift between them following their recent social media fallout.
This reconciliation comes after Wizkid publicly endorsed Don Jazzy’s protege Ayra Starr’s sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21,’ which was released on Friday.
Wizkid took to his handle to promote the album, sharing the cover and streaming link with the caption: “Superstar [love and eagle emojis].”

Don Jazzy appreciated Wizkid’s support by reposting his tweet with the caption: “Thanks Big Wiz [eagle emoji].”
The rift between the two began when Wizkid appeared to shade Don Jazzy after his signee Ladipoe seemingly mocked him on social media for claiming that ‘hip hop is dead.’
Responding to a fan who pointed out Ladipoe’s post, Wizkid said, “Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer. Next.” He also retweeted two tweets suggesting that he referred to Don Jazzy as an influencer.
Wizkid’s comment sparked backlash on social media, with celebrities including skit makers Mr Macaroni and Nasboi, as well as reality stars Doyin and Tacha, criticizing him for disrespecting Don Jazzy.
In response, Don Jazzy unfollowed Wizkid on Instagram.
