Following the attack by suspected herders in Molege community, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, the Ondo State Government has advised residents of the state to desist from confronting invaders.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu gave the advise in a statement issued by his Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo.
He said any form of attack must be reported to security agencies instead of resorting to self-help.
According to him: “Residents in the state, especially farmers, are enjoined to report any invasion of farmlands and unauthorised grazing to the Police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, South West Security Network, Amotekun, and other security agencies. None is permitted to resort to self-help.
