Drake Loses £478,000 Bet on Ngannou vs. Joshua Bout, Continues Streak of Combat Sports Betting Losses

Rapper Drake faced another setback in his betting endeavors as he lost a staggering £478,000 wager on Francis Ngannou’s anticipated victory over Anthony Joshua in their heavyweight boxing clash on Friday.

Drake had been poised for a significant windfall of over £1 million had Ngannou emerged victorious. However, Joshua had other plans, swiftly dispatching Ngannou in a mere two rounds.

Joshua’s thunderous knockout left Ngannou sprawled on the canvas, prompting immediate medical attention in the ring before he managed to rise to his feet.

This latest loss extends Drake’s streak of misfortune in combat sports betting. In January, he suffered a loss of over half a million pounds after betting on Sean Strickland to successfully defend his UFC middleweight championship against Dricus Du Plessis.

Prior to that, Drake faced a £430,000 loss when Israel Adesanya unexpectedly fell to defeat against Strickland in the octagon. He had previously wagered £700,000 on Logan Paul to emerge victorious against Dillon Danis in a boxing match, only to see his prediction fall short.
