34-year-old Ayuba Adavo has been arrested by Police for allegedly raping a lady.
He was arrested on Monday after the 25-year-old victim reported the case.
According to the lady, the suspect blocked her way around 8pm on Sunday along Amagiya Road, Sapele, dragged her to his room where he threatened to shoot her with a locally-made cut-to-size gun before forcefully sleeping with her.

The victim further stated that the suspect, who was heavily drunk, slept off after the incident, on noticing that the he was fast asleep, she snuck out of the room and ran to Sapele Police Station, where she reported the case.
Some detectives immediately invaded the house and arrested the suspect who was in possession of a gun
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, while confirming the incident, said investigation was ongoing.
